North Coventry Parks and Recreation presents
Bird Walk: TRACKING TIMBERDOODLES!
Have you ever gone on a “snipe hunt”? Here is your chance!
This nature walk will target the American Woodcock, also known as the Timberdoodle, on its singing ground in Coventry Woods. Join us for a brief information session and evening bird walk, after which we will settle in to (hopefully) hear and observe male woodcocks during their courtship displays in the dusk twilight.
Bring a flashlight, binoculars, and dress for the weather.
The walk will be approximately ½ mile over uneven ground.
RSVPs are required as this event will be cancelled or rescheduled
if there is inclement weather or unfavorable conditions.
Date and Time: March 13, Friday, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Location: Coventry Woods – Jones Road entrance
2375 Jones Road, Pottstown, 19465.
RSVP to the walk leaders: Patty and John Werth
