Township Leaf Collection to Begin on October 22nd

IMPORTANT CHANGE-- There is a 13 cubic yard limit on each residence per collection cycle. Once the limit has been reached the remaining leaves will NOT be collected during that collection cycle and it will be the homeowner's responsibility to remove the remaining leaves from roadways or drainage areas. Thirteen cubic yards of leaves would be the approximate size of a 3 foot high by 3 foot wide by 50 foot long pile.

EAST END LEAF PICKUP

Leaf collection in the Township will begin on concrete curbed township roadways on October 22nd in the east end of the Township. The east end collection will consist of roads east of and including Laurelwood Road. East end collections will take place on the weeks of October 22nd, November 5th and November 19th. Collections will occur on Mondays and Tuesdays, weather permitting.

WEST END LEAF PICKUP

West end collection will begin on October 29th and consist of roads west of Laurelwood Road. West end collections will take place on the weeks of October 29th, November 12th and November 26th. Collections will also occur on Mondays and Tuesdays, weather permitting.

MAIN STREET LEAF PICKUP

Collection for East and West Main St. will be on October 31st , November 14th and November 28th. 

If weather is inclement leaves will be collected on the next suitable day.

Leaf collection is for leaves only (no trees, branches, sticks, pine needles etc.)

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Please do not pile leaves near storm drains

Please do not pile leaves when it is not your areas week Please do not pile leaves when inclement weather is expected

Keep large piles off roadways

Try to pile leaves weekend before collection

Leaves will only be collected on concrete curbed Township roads

Please do not blow leaves while the crew is vacuuming leaves due to safety concerns
