NORTH COVENTRY TOWNSHIP
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ENACT PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. 03-2026 TO CHAPTERS 141 CODE ENFORCEMENT, CHAPTER 181 FIRE PREVENTION, AND CHAPTER 270 PROPERTY MAINTENANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to the Second Class Township Code, the North Coventry Township Board of Supervisors will consider enacting an amendment to the North Coventry Code of Ordinances to amend Chapters 141, 181, and 270 at a public meeting at 7:00 p.m. on May 11, 2026, at 845 S. Hanover Street, Pottstown, PA 19465.
The proposed ordinance amends the Code of the Township of North Coventry to adopt the 2021 International Fire Code (with Appendices B, C, and D) and the 2021 International Property Maintenance Code (with Appendix A), and to update related provisions of Chapters 141, 181, and 270 of the Township Code. The ordinance further adopts the 2021 International Property Maintenance Code to regulate the maintenance and condition of buildings and structures within the Township.
