Parks & Recreation Commission 2017 Year End Summary Report Administration PARRC: North Coventry Township continued the partnership in the Pottstown Area Regional Recreation Committee (PARRC) during year three of the program with Jay Erb and Kevin Hennessey as the representatives. SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARATION WHEREAS, on or about March 6, 2018 a Winter Weather Event has caused or  threatens to cause injury, damage, and suffering to the persons and property of Chester County; and WHEREAS, the storm has endangered the health, safety and welfare of a substantial number of persons residing in North Coventry Township, and threatens to create problems greater in scope than North Coventry Township may be able to resolve; and WHEREAS, emergency management measures are required to reduce the severity of this disaster and to protect the health, safety, and welfare of affected residents in North Coventry Township;

The Township needs your HELP to get ready for the impending snow event. Residents are being asked to please keep clear snow emergency routes and also to not park in cul-de-sacs and to remove basketball hoops from roadway areas.  The Township snow plows will be out clearing the roadways once the snow begins and needs the streets clear of obstacles to best remove snow. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and remember Spring is only 14 DAYS AWAY!!!

Volunteer Needed- Zoning Hearing Board

Volunteers Needed for Zoning Hearing Board The Township is seeking two volunteers to serve on the Zoning Hearing Board.  One of the two positions available is for an alternate who will only serve when another member is unavailable to be present for a hearing. The Zoning Hearing Board meets only as needed and plays a role of interpreting the Township Ordinances as it applies to applications presented at a zoning hearing.  Volunteers must be a residents of North Coventry Township and be available to attend hearings as scheduled.  Hearings are typically scheduled on Thursday nights (but may vary) and held

AMPHIBIAN FRIENDS NEWSLETTER 2018 Dear Amphibian Friends, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on Friday. That is supposed to mean six more weeks of winter. But I saw robins migrating back this past week so we better prepare for our eleventh year of helping the amphibians cross St. Peters and Wells Roads.
