Kenilworth Park is nestled in the historic village of Kenilworth in North Coventry Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Thanks to community volunteers and community organizations the Park has experienced many exciting improvements in the past few years.
Kenilworth Park has handicapped accessibility and extended parking areas. The Park offers tennis courts, a children’s play area, three athletic fields, an 18 hole disc golf course, a pavilion, restored wetlands, a pond with a handicapped fishing area (State fishing regulations must be followed), and a paved walking trail.
Park hours are sunrise to sunset. There is no potable water in the park, so please come prepared.
Whether your interests lie in fitness or relaxation, Kenilworth Park offers opportunities for both active and passive recreation. Nearly a mile of paved walking trail is available for both human and canine residents of the township (pets must be on a leash of not more than 6 feet in length and you must pick up after them.) The pond, wetland, Kenilworth Creek, and wooded hillside offer quality wildlife watching.
Three athletic fields and the disc golf course are available for use or may be rented. The pavilion offers a grill, but does not have electric or water, and may be rented for your event.
The park offers a handicapped accessible Porta Potty at the Scherfel Blvd. parking area for your comfort! It is available year round.
Consider Kenilworth Park for your next family picnic your organizations event!
As always, we expect you to leave the park in the condition in which you entered it. All of our parks have a “Pack It In, Pack It Out” policy, which means there are no trash receptacles and you must take your trash out with you. We believe taking pride in parks by taking out what you bring in, will go much farther in maintaining its beauty and cleanliness. For athletic teams and large events this means being prepared to pick up after your spectators and team members.
Reservation forms can be submitted to the township office, by mail, or electronically emailed. For large or park wide events, a Special Activities agreement must be submitted. Feel free to contact the township office by calling 610-323-1694 or by email for availability and information.
We hope to see you at Kenilworth Park!
