North Coventry Township

Welcome To Riverbend Park

Riverbend Park is a beautiful athletic park overlooking the Schuylkill River.

The park offers three athletic fields (Anderson, Batdorf and Deegan), a pavilion, and a play area.  Canine companions are welcome; pets must be on a leash of not more than 6 feet in length and you must pick up after them.

Anderson Field Access is located at 230 Yerger Lane.
Batdorf Field Access is located at 850 River Road.
Deegan Field Access is located at 840 River Road.

Park hours are sunup to sundown.  The park offers a handicapped accessible Porta Potty; however, it is removed in late November and not returned until March.

Athletic fields are available for use and are often rented by youth and adult sports teams, by organizations, and by families for picnics. The pavilion does not offer electric or water; and also it may be rented for your event.  There is no potable water in the park, so please come prepared.

Large or park wide events may also be arranged.  In this case, a Special Activities application must be submitted.

This is a very sought after park and we strongly advise sports teams, organizations and families to submit rental requests early.

As always, we expect you to leave the park in the condition in which you entered it.  All of our parks have a “Pack It In, Pack It Out” policy, which means there are no trash receptacles and you must take your trash out with you.  We believe taking pride in parks by taking out what you bring in, will go much farther in maintaining its beauty and cleanliness.  For athletic teams and large events this means being prepared to pick up after your spectators and team members.

Reservation forms can be submitted at the township office, by mail, or electronically by email.  A Special Activities application must be submitted for large park wide events.  Feel free to contact the township office by calling 610-323-1694 or by email for availability information.

We hope to see you at Riverbend Park!
