NCPD 2022 Annual Recap

Over the past year, Chief Deichert and the Police Department delivered responsive and high-quality public safety services, implemented policy changes and functional improvements to their facilities to maintain accreditation, and implemented successful community events including Cops and Cones at Coventry Parlor in June of 2022, Fallen Heroes Car Show in August 2022, and a Sweating Over Suicide (SOS) 5K Race in October 2022.

In addition, the Police Department completed the interview process for a new Full Time Police Officer, selecting Ryan Weller to serve in this new capacity in April 2022.

In June of 2022, Detective Timothy Prouty was awarded Officer of the Year by the Chester County District Attorney’s office for his hard work and dedication to the North Coventry Township Police Department and the local community.

The Police fleet status was maintained with the replacement of a patrol vehicle with a 2022 Ford Explorer and firearm equipment was updated in 2022.
