NOTICE CONCERNING ADOPTION OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 01-2021 AMENDING CHAPTER 44 OPEN SPACE REVIEW BOARD OF THE NORTH COVENTRY CODE OF ORDINANCES TO CLARIFY MEMBERSHIP AND TERMS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the Second-Class Township Code, that the Board of Supervisors of North Coventry Township, Chester County, will hold a public hearing at or after 7:00 p.m. on March 22, 2021 during the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting held on the Zoom platform. Instructions will be made available on the Township website at www.northcoventrytownship.com for the public to join and participate at least 24 hours prior to the meeting date. The North Coventry Township Board of Supervisors will consider adopting Ordinance Amendment No. 01-2021 to Chapter 44 to the North Coventry Township Code of Ordinances clarifying member representatives and terms of volunteer positions to the Open Space Review Board.
Summary:
Ordinance No. 01-2021 of North Coventry Township proposes to amend Chapter 44 Open Space Review Board in Section 44-1 “Establishment; membership” and Section 44-2 “Terms” to eliminate reference to the Coventry Land Trust which is no longer in operation and increases the number of members who are citizens at large from two members to three members.
The Board of Supervisors shall take evidence, testimony, or presentations with respect to the proposed Ordinance during the public hearing. The Board may, if no substantial changes are made, adopt the Ordinance at the meeting or at a subsequent meeting. Anyone who wishes to be heard should attend.
