Authorization to Advertise for Bids: 2025 Traffic Signal Improvement Project
The North Coventry Township Board of Supervisors has authorized the advertisement for bids for the 2025 Traffic Signal Improvement Project. This initiative aims to enhance traffic signal safety and efficiency at key intersections along Route 100 and Route 724.
Township engineers, Bowman Associates, have completed the preparation of bid documents and project specifications. Planned improvements include:
• Installation of new traffic signal heads
• Updated signage
• Pedestrian push buttons
• Advanced video and radar detection systems
This project is made possible through a $287,100 Automated Red Light Enforcement (ARLE) Grant awarded by PennDOT.
The advertisement for bids will be posted on PennBID, where qualified contractors can review the documents and submit proposals. The project is scheduled for completion within 100 days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed.

• Bid Submission Deadline: Wednesday, April 23, 2025
• Bid Award Recommendation: Monday, April 28, 2025, Board of Supervisors Meeting
Bowman Associates will also provide traffic engineering services, including project coordination, construction observation, and inspection.
