The North Coventry Township Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) is hosting a FREE educational webinar on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. on the topic of “Understanding and Maintaining Your Home Water Supply – A Focus on Private Wells,” presented by Jeff Christopher, P.G., Hydrogeologist. Pennsylvania is unique in that more homeowners rely on private waste supply wells than any other state. The webinar will cover a basic understanding of this resource and the implications on water quality to allow homeowners to make education decisions regarding water use, treatment, and plumbing maintenance. Topics covered will include local regulations (Chester County), well design and construction, evaluating water quality, and routine contaminant treatment strategies.
