North Coventry Township, PA – July 28, 2025 – North Coventry Township is proud to announce it has been awarded a $110,000 grant through the Chester County Commissioners’ 2025 Preservation Partnership Program. The funds will be dedicated to the redevelopment of the playground at Kenilworth Park, a vital community hub for families and residents.
This award reflects a significant investment by Chester County in support of North Coventry’s continued commitment to enhancing public spaces and providing safe, accessible recreational opportunities. The Kenilworth Park Playground Redevelopment project is designed to modernize the facility, improve safety features, and expand inclusive play options for children of all ages and abilities.
“We are grateful to the Chester County Commissioners for their continued partnership and support,” said Jim Marks, Chairman of the North Coventry Township Board of Supervisors. “This grant allows us to revitalize an important part of our community, supporting our long-term goals for open space, recreation, and quality of life.”
The grant will be administered by the Chester County Department of Parks + Preservation, which will oversee the project’s progress and facilitate reimbursements. Construction timelines and project details will be shared with the community as plans move forward.
