North Coventry Township Completes Coventry Woods Stewardship Plan
North Coventry Township has completed a Coventry Woods Stewardship Plan, developed through the Chester County Open Space Accelerator Program, to provide a long-term strategy to protect and enhance one of the Township’s most valuable natural resources. The plan builds on the Township’s longstanding commitment to open space preservation and outlines practical actions to improve forest health, manage invasive species, protect water resources, maintain trails, and strengthen wildlife habitat.
Developed with input from Township officials, community volunteers, and conservation partners, the plan establishes clear priorities to guide future stewardship efforts while helping the Township better coordinate funding, partnerships, and volunteer support.
The Stewardship Plan ensures that Coventry Woods will continue to provide outstanding opportunities for recreation, environmental education, and wildlife conservation while preserving this important community resource for future generations.
